Young Cambodian journalists voice their opinions on land grabbing, forced evictions and labor conflicts. They have produced documentaries under the roof of the “Department of Media and Communication” at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. MOVE chronicles land-grabbing in the Omlaing commune in Kampong Speu. Locals blame the “Phnom Penh Sugar Company, which is owned by a senator of the ruling party. STRIKE portrays different actors in the recent strikes in Cambodian garment factories: workers, unions, company owners and government.
