Originally based in Long Beach, California, Sophy’s has come back to its spiritual home after opening an eatery in Phnom Penh - just metres from the city’s night market. With an impressive menu offering dishes from Cambodia, Thailand and the West, Sophy’s cuisine is set to be a force to reckon with. Dishes average in price at US$6 and Sophy’s also has a bar for those wanting to get a quiet drink before a wild night on the riverside. An array of black fans contrasts with the restaurant’s white interior, and dark furniture only extenuates the contrast. A number of paintings and photographs are hung on the walls, giving it an artistic touch.
Sophy’s Thai-Cambodian Cuisine, 28 Street 13 corner Street 104, Tel: 023 991 578, Open daily from 7am to 10pm.
