There’s nothing better than sitting down, relaxing and listening to some good ol’ Mexican music while chomping down on an oversized Chimichanga. Now that Siem Reap’s pride of Mexico has arrived in Phnom Penh, sporting a two-level restaurant along the riverside, you can realise that dream. viva!’s repertoire of nachos, chimichangas, quesedillas and enchiladas is available for the average price of US$5. Western and Khmer cuisine are also available, thanks to the restaurant’s comprehensive menu. And yes, they do deliver. Only open for a couple of weeks, its fast-growing popularity is evident by the length of time we had to wait to get a seat.
Viva! Mexican & Khmer Restaurant, 111 Sisowath Quay Blvd, Tel: 093 678 888, Open daily from 10am to 11pm.
